Rêverie de Bergamote is the brand’s first new fragrance in 18 months, based around the dazzling note of bergamot from the Calabria region (where the best bergamot is grown). This aromatic citrus scent was created by perfumer Emilie Bouge, who took inspiration by listening to music while she created the fragrance, so to capture “a memory of blissful mornings of reverie, surrounded by light and shadows, music and words”.

Housed in a joyful yellow bottle, Rêverie de Bergamote announces itself with cheery notes of said bergamot, complemented by energetic tangerine and delicate aromatic herbs and woods. As well as its playful, sunny citrus accord, earthy notes of patchouli, moss and vetiver provide an enveloping base, which warms up beautifully on the skin as the scent develops. These grounding, green accords pay tribute to the urban green spaces that many of us have relied upon, as travel restrictions prevent us escaping the city.

Bergamot – this summer’s scent trend
